This website is built to meet WCAG 2.2 AA, so that every member and citizen can use it.
What we have implemented
- Full keyboard navigation with a skip-to-content link and visible focus outlines
- Semantic headings, landmarks and ARIA labelling for screen readers
- Colour contrast that meets AA, with meaning never carried by colour alone
- Accessible forms with labels, clear errors and helpful instructions
- Reduced-motion support for people who prefer less animation
- Readable type sizes and layouts that work from 320 pixels upwards
- Alternative text and captions for photography and video
Ongoing work
Accessibility is reviewed whenever new sections are published, including the member portal, the manifesto reader and the document library.
