Chama Cha Mashinani is membership-driven and accountable to its members, organised from the ward upwards.
Who we are
CCM — The People's Grassroots Movement — is a democratic movement built on the participation of its members. Authority flows from the membership through the movement's organs, and its ideological foundation rests on devolution, participatory democracy, cooperative governance and the prudent use of resources.
The movement's character is non-discriminative, democratic, membership-driven and accountable, with gender parity and the participation of women and youth, respect for diversity, and freedom of speech and the free circulation of ideas and information.
